About Us

 Vanessa Abben started Ebb and Flow in 2021 because when it feels like a path is being laid before you sometimes the best thing to do is to walk on it.
Vanessa moved to Ashland in 2008 where she attended SOU and received a degree in business. Despite her accounting professor's constant efforts she never did pursue her CPA license. But never say never.
After SOU she took on an office manager position where she was lucky enough to meet a bookkeeper who was about to go on maternity leave. She took some time to show Vanessa the ropes and very quickly the bookkeeping became her favorite part of the day.
When the time came for her to leave that position she wanted to really pursue bookkeeping as a career. So she took a position with a local bookkeeping firm where she stayed for 5 amazing years. In that time she became a partner in the firm and worked with a wide variety of business clients.

Vanessa is certified in QuickBooks Online. She is passionate and excited about all things bookkeeping and is always keeping an eye out for solutions that make life easier.
Vanessa is building a business for what she needs and wants her life to look like. She really wants to help her clients do the same thing with their finances.
